Light Ideas can display product prices in a customer’s preferred currency while browsing. At checkout, the final payment currency and amount are confirmed by Stripe.
Where supported, Stripe Adaptive Pricing automatically offers a relevant local currency, calculates the converted amount and handles the currency conversion. The Stripe-provided exchange rate can include a customer currency conversion fee.
Customers can choose the original currency instead where Stripe offers that option. If they do, their bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or foreign transaction charge.
Light Ideas does not add an additional buyer marketplace fee. Always check the final currency and total shown at checkout before confirming payment.
