The price shown while browsing can be a converted display price. The final payment amount is confirmed at checkout using the payment currency and exchange rate available for that checkout session.
Where Stripe Adaptive Pricing is available, the local-currency amount can include Stripe’s currency conversion fee within the exchange rate. Customers can choose the original currency instead where Stripe offers that option.
If a customer pays in a currency that differs from their card or bank account currency, their bank or card issuer may also apply its own exchange rate or foreign transaction charge. Temporary authorisation holds and bank-side rounding can occasionally make pending amounts appear different as well.
The amount and currency displayed immediately before confirming payment at checkout are the payment details to rely on. See Marketplace Fees for current fee information.
