Our payment provider supports payouts in multiple currencies, but whether a seller incurs a currency conversion fee depends on the currency used by the customer at checkout, the seller’s Stripe account settings, and the seller’s selected payout currency.
In many cases, sellers can receive payouts in their local currency through their connected Stripe account. However, if a payment or payout requires currency conversion, Stripe or the seller’s bank may apply conversion fees or exchange rate adjustments.
Sellers trading internationally should review their Stripe payout currency and settlement settings carefully. We generally recommend using a payout currency that matches your primary sales market (for example, GBP for UK sellers or USD for US sellers) to help reduce unnecessary conversion costs.
