Light Ideas is designed to support customers and sellers using different currencies.

Customer payment

Where supported, Stripe Adaptive Pricing can present a customer with a local-currency price at checkout. Stripe handles the conversion and the customer can choose the original currency instead. Any Adaptive Pricing conversion fee is included in Stripe’s converted exchange rate shown at checkout.

Seller payout

The seller’s earnings are processed through their connected Stripe account and paid out in a supported settlement currency for that account. If a separate settlement or payout conversion is required, Stripe or the seller’s bank may apply additional conversion or cross-border costs depending on the account, country and currencies involved.
