Not necessarily — the currency selected while browsing helps display prices, but checkout uses Stripe Adaptive Pricing for the actual payment. Stripe can choose the presentment currency based on the buyer’s location and the currencies it supports for that payment.

The checkout/payment screen is the authoritative place for the buyer to confirm the final amount and currency before paying. Order records retain the actual payment currency so the transaction can be understood later.
