Light Ideas can display converted prices while a buyer browses, then Stripe Adaptive Pricing determines the supported presentment currency used for the actual checkout. This allows the final payment to be handled using Stripe’s checkout conversion rather than Light Ideas forcing the browsing currency.

Before payment is confirmed, the buyer can see the final amount and currency on the payment screen. If a refund is later issued, it is made against the original payment so the customer is refunded in the original transaction currency.
