Setting Up Your Seller Policies #
To help customers make informed decisions, all sellers must complete the following in their dashboard > settings > policies section:
- Privacy Policy
- Terms and Conditions
- Shipping Policy
- Return Policy
These policies will appear on your product pages under the dropdown “Seller Policies”, visible to customers before checkout.
Important Notes for Sellers #
- You must write your policies to reflect how your shop specifically operates.
- Do not use generic templates without editing — customers rely on this information when deciding to purchase.
- We provide example templates below to help you get started.
- We (the marketplace) are not responsible for the content of seller policies. Each seller is responsible for their own shop policies.
Example: Privacy Policy #
I only use your personal information to process and deliver your order, and to provide customer support. I do not share your details with third parties, except where required for order fulfilment (e.g. couriers).
Example: Terms and Conditions #
All items are handmade to order unless stated otherwise. By purchasing, you agree to the processing time stated on the product page. Please check your shipping address is correct before placing your order.
Example: Shipping Policy #
I aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. UK delivery typically takes 2–4 business days. International orders may take 7–21 business days. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes.
Example: Return Policy #
If you’re not satisfied with your order, please contact me within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned within 30 days, in unused condition. Return postage is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
Reminder: Always update your policies if your processing times, shipping options or return terms change.
