To create a basic account on the marketplace, you typically only need a valid email address and password. Additional personal details can be added later in your account settings.
However, to register as a seller, more information is required. Our marketplace and Stripe both need accurate personal or business details so you can receive payouts.
During seller registration, you may be asked for:
- Full name
- Business name (if applicable)
- Address and contact information
- Phone number
- VAT or tax details (if required for your region)
When you connect your Stripe account for payouts, Stripe will also require additional verification information, which may include:
- Date of birth
- Government-issued ID
- Business type and ownership details
- Bank account information for payouts
This information is required by Stripe to comply with financial regulations and to ensure you can receive payments safely.
