Process the refund against the relevant order and enter the items or amount being refunded. A partial refund does not need to cancel the whole order: only the refunded amount is recorded against the seller entitlement, leaving the remaining order value in place.

Check the refund status after submitting it. Do not assume the customer has been refunded until the refund is shown as successfully completed.
